Note: I'm aware it says 2012-2008 - just pretend it's the other way around

Everything was made in MSPaint

I started this years ago but didn't really complete it. So in the last week or so I decided to final work on it to completion.Here's where it started and here's the point it got to

I'm not going to go into detail about them all because that would take forever, but here are a few details about a few of them:

The black/grey parts of the Fire Starters can all set alight (much like the tail seen on the second stage)

Larthorn's final form depends on whether it evolves on the ground or in a tree. Not sure how that would work with game mechanics.
Bandoon and Pandoon are related and their eggs can hatch into either Pokémon
Smilodent comes from the Jaw Fossil
Darsimius comes from the Tail Fossil
Lantrick and Lantoil are both upside down - their real mouths are the holes in the top of their heads
Eminko and Iguesture vary on appearance depending on their nature - the expression in the main dex is just there for the sake of it
Luraid is supposed to be the Pokémon Masquerain mimics so both of them exploit this (which I think makes it an example of Müllerian mimicry)

The Trio is the Undead Trio, their Trio Master is Plasmort

The main Legendary Duo is based on climate change - I couldn't find any opposing mythical creatures based on fire and ice so I decided to use the Jotun from Norse Mythology as inspiration. The Duo Master is able to change form depending on the conditions and its name is taken from the void realm that exists before the creation of the world.

The second duo is based on Life and Death

The form changes are mostly superficial palette swaps
