I think the last time I updated my journal, I mentioned that I was getting braces. And I got them. The first week was pretty awful - the actual fitting was fine, but it was pretty painful during the following days, and not being able to eat solid food was pretty bad. I also had a couple of mishaps that required repairing the brace, but everything seems fine at the minute. It's still somewhat uncomfortable to chew right now, but I'm getting used to it and they're not bothering me as much as I thought they would. So yay. All I want to do is eat though. And I'm still very much looking forwards to the day that I get to take them off :B

So onto more exciting things. It's my birthday tomorrow. Whoo. Haven't got any plans, so it's probably going to be another regular day. I don't mind though. It's also the European release of Pokémon ORAS tomorrow, so I'll probably be ordering a copy at some point. That's pretty exciting.

I've made no attempt on the project I've been working on because my computer's still playing up. I have revisited another project that my computer can actually cope with, but I have no idea if I'll make any kind of progress on it. I really need to sort this thing out, or think about getting a new computer. Still, I'm doing something somewhat art-related, so I'm happy.

Life in general is pretty much the same. Looking forwards to Christmas, mainly because friends will be coming back to spend it with family, which means I get to see them again. I may be getting more hours at work because it's a busy time of year, and on a related note, the Christmas music is already driving me crazy. I'm sure I'll get used to it by January though.

So that's it. If you're still visiting my page, thanks for reading :aww:

I got my braces at the end of August, and they hurt to the point where I nearly cried! I feel your pain. It took me almost a week to get to eat solid food. I am also looking forward to the day of their removal.

And happy birthday. I wish that you have a wonderful day.
