Eventually...

Okay, so it turned out that I lied about starting to upload my project pieces last week. Technically. I did intend to, but with friends arriving, and leaving, and leaving for extended periods of time, and other commitments, I didn't really feel like it was a good time. Also, I got offered the opportunity to work in a different town for 5 days this week, so it seemed like a bad idea to start uploading when I've got 5 solid days where I can't make any progress at all. Considering I'm intending to upload on a daily basis, and have set up a buffer to make things easier, I don't want to increase the pressure by taking away a chunk of the buffer. So next week is the new goal for a start date.

Back to work, I'm not exactly excited about this. The shifts are twelve hours, I'll be staying at a hotel, I'm not entirely sure what I'll be doing, and I only have one person from our store with me. If it's just a 12 hour version of what I usually do, I'm fairly certain I'm going to be driven crazy by boredom, and I'm going to be slightly on edge because it's a different shop and a different team. The management from our shop has told me I'll have fun - I'm imagining they mean I'll have fun living in a hotel for a week. Still, I'm grateful for the opportunity because I could do with the extra pay. And at least I'm not in this alone.
