Speed Skating

Okay, I decided to do a piece of Pokemon fanart on Bulbagarden's Oekaki for the first time in about a year. I chose Surskit because I can never randomly pick a Pokemon without saying "maybe I'll try again" about a thousand times until I find something I feel like drawing and since I like Bug Pokemon and am interested in quirky Pokemon I decided to pick Surskit.
Anyone who saw the word "Pokemon" in that paragraph is crazy
I'm aware there should be an accent on the 'e' but laptop said no

Anyway, as I was saying I decided to do this because at the minute I feel like I'm just an emoticonist and that's crazy because even emoting has become a bit of a rarity for me lately. When I get more time I'd love to do more large scale things again.

So Surskit, I chose to give it kind of a cartoony style with black lines everywhere. The purple shadow was a kind of planned accident. I wanted it to happen but I was kind of nervous about doing it so I just put the pencil tool on low opacity and put a dark red streak across one side. And that also explains why I put fog in the pic because I needed something to cast the shadow and a tree would be too obscurring. Also, as always I've screwed up the light source by putting it in the backround so you'll have to assume someone has a spotlight on Surskit.

I'm talking too much so I'll stop now and go to bed
