New Emote Base Pack by Wooded-Wolf New Emote Base Pack by Wooded-Wolf
This was supposed to be purely for my use but I'm posting it here anyway. The idea and layout for this is based on =Mr-Jaunty's idea: [link] which was inspired by my original base packs.

I haven't made a base pack for ages so I thought I'd make a new one. It started off as just 24 emotes but I thought I'd double that and add light and dark toned bases for each so now it's 2 sets of 72.

Usability and Preferred Usage
As I said before this was meant to be for my use only but if you like the look of any of the bases, or the colours used, you may use them if you want as long as you link back to me and this pack. Obviously it would be better if you used your own bases and shading pattern but if you're new to emotes you can use these until you're comfortable with creating your own shading style. Alternatively if you like the colours involved you could use them with your own shading style.

The pack
These are the standard colours I will be using for my emotes until I create something I like more. There's 8 main coloured bases with two intermediate colours between each colour. The colours of the emotes are based on my transforming emotes: [link]

This is the first time I've created a pack which doesn't use a consistent hue for each emote. Instead they transitition from one hue to another, for example yellow-orange aswell as from light to dark. Set one's hue transitions go from right to left, eg. yellow to orange, green to yellow etc., set two's go from left to right eg. yellow to green, green to cyan etc.

For each emote there is a light and dark version. The dark version is not as good for expressions but it makes it easier for me to add sections of shadow to my emotes.

My other packs

These are my other packs which are free to use as long as credit is given to me as well as a link to the pack used:

Pack 3 Extension: [link]

This took a while to do on and off as I had to make so many bases which I had to create by hand. I was up until 6 this morning finishing the bases and layout and just finished the hands. I had to choose the specific values of hue/sat/lum for the first 8 emotes in each set and then use the gradient/colour mixer trick in MSPaint to create the intermediate colours. For the light and dark emotes I had to decrease or increase the luminence value for each colour in the first 16 emotes by 30 and then did the same thing as before to create the intermediate colours. This whole thing took bloody ages. I could have used GIMP to make lighter/darker emotes and I tried that but it looked awful.

This whole thing was made in MSPaint

Please do not claim this pack as your own work or use on any website without my permission. Thankyou.
