Description

The yellow emote goes into the blue casing. Colour lesson: Yellow plus Blue equals Blellow..
Not Yet Perfected..

I don't know why I had this idea but I like how it turned out.
I was doing another one of those emoticons where two emoticons become one but I didn't like the squishy animation because it was hard to achieve. I also wanted to see if it would look good to overlap two emoticons - to give them a translucent feel - so I thought maybe one could slip into an outer case. And then there was the problem of what happened once it was over and I thought instead of one emoticon disappearing to the right and another coming to from the left I would make an endless construction line. So most of this animation was used to remove the problem of emotes magically disappearing.

The animation turned out quite well - the lever in particular: it has three positions (four if you count the part where he jerks it to get the track going) but the animation isn't at all jerky. It looks kind of real. The arm movement was great - he looks slow but you have to remember that he's squeezing himself into an odd bubble. The emotes fall asleep after being transformed probably to preserve energy. They are going green after all. The track jerks purposely - I wanted it to look more real and less perfect.

The whole composition can be repeated over and over again to make a long piece so I may do more of these to create a giant factory. It would be quite a good project.
The emotes remind me of those NPower things..

38 Frames, MSPaint, Beneton Movie Gif
I do everything on MSPaint so I don't have the luxury of layers - just think of all of the cutting and pasting and filling in bits I removed.
