Emoticon Starter Pack V2.0 by Wooded-Wolf Emoticon Starter Pack V2.0 by Wooded-Wolf
I started this a few weeks ago but didn't get round to finishing it until today. This is based on the original which you can find here: [link]
This one is a bit more minimalist but I didn't want to add everything because it's all in the old pack.

So here it is - the second build-your-own emoticons kit for beginners. All you have to do is cut and paste the different parts of the emoticon and you have an emoticon.
I've added a few more expressions, and tweaked others, and I've only added front view because you can move the eyes anywhere around the 'body'. Here is an eye placement map: [link]

Colours: The colours are more natural this time - I've used three colours to make the rest: Yellow, Cyan, Magenta, and they are the same as the ones found here: [link] but I've added another 12 to make 24.
There are 3 different toned and they're much softer than the ones from the original pack so the expressions are much easier to see.

Eyes - really basic expressions, easy to use in animations.
Use a dark colour such as the outline colour or a contrasting colour instead of black.

There is also a shading template (rainbow coloured thing) and blank template for you to use to make your own emoticons. You don't have to shade the way I did but if you have no idea how to shade your emoticon the existing coloured ones on the sheet may be ideal.

This is mainly done on MSPaint - I did the light and dark tones on gimp by adjusting the mid-tone emoticons.

I don't know if I've missed anything but if you have any questions feel free to ask me, and this pack is free to use as long as you don't post it as your own.

As always, enjoy ^-^

This is really cool however I don't understand ... is this just the png file that shows the different options, or is there an actual "pack" (as in .rar or .zip) or program that can be downloaded?

It's just an image; I didn't make a zip file for all of the parts but I intend to for my next pack.
If you want to use anything you have to open the image and cut out the parts you want.
